They are available world wide in a range of colours and lengths. It is  perfect for low maintenance hair styles that stay glamorous and full of body. These hair extensions have the potential to be used for up to two years. To ensure that you get the most from your Remi Hair you will need to care for it in a way you have never cared for your extensions or weaves before..

How to care for your remi hairIt is vitally important for the hair that you keep it nourished with a good shampoo and conditioner that you can wash out. Wash the hair every week to keep it bouncy. Comb it out before you wash it so all of the kinks and tangles are out. Do not comb this hair from root to tip. This will pull the hair from the weft and cause shedding. Comb or brush the hair from the bottom and work your way upwards. Use intensive moisturising shampoo and conditioner to help keep the moisture and it will maintain it’s luxurious and healthy texture. Please note that you do not need to get your scalp wet every time you wash your extensions especially if you are washing regularly throughout the week. However, if you are washing your scalp gently massage shampoo into the root of the hair, on top of the hair net or directly between the cane rows. And rise with warm water until the bubbles have gone. When you wash the hair do not scrunch, rub or lather the hair with the shampoo.

When drying the hair do not rub the hair with the towel, dab the hair gently with the towel and wrapyour hair into a towel turban. When most of the water has absorbed into the towel then air dry the hair without any heat or appliance. Do not comb or brush the hair when it is wet, this can make the hair weak. Taking good care not to tangled the hair. Do not go to bed with wet hair as this will knot and tangle your hair. Plait, wrap or put your hair into a high or low bun or ponytail without product at night. If you choose to blow dry, straighten or tong the hair with a heat appliance then use a heat protective product on your natural hair as well as the Remi hair to keep it from burning or breaking. This way it will stay healthy for longer. This hair is human therefore it can and will split if you do not take good care of it. Let me know what works best for you and get yourself a Remi hair beauty regime.

Greasing your scalp with growth products is fine as long as it doesn’t touch the Remi. It will gradually drip down during the week and this is when you would proceed to washing it. It is also vitally important that you do not use Afro Caribbean Greasy products directly on the Remi hair itself as this will weigh it down and make it week and limp. The bounce will go and it will become to look stringy.

Comment in the box below about how you maintain your hair. I’m happy to answer any questions that you may have. Remi hair can cost approximately £40-65 a pack depending on the length and retailer.
